T3D 1/8 Car Stand - 6 Month Review

I have had the 1st version of the T3D 1/8 Car Stand for about 6 months or more. Most of us would think that a 3D printed 1/8 car stand is not going to be able to cope with the weight of a 1/8 buggy (approx. 3.5kg) or the abuse when placing additional pressure when wrenching, well we are wrong and the T3D product is as tough as any car stand, I've owned.

The T3D car stand has a motocross style design and comes with stainless hardware to assemble. The top of the stand has durable rubber pads that protect the stand and let the car move around easily. 

After 6 months of regular use the T3D car stand has exceeded expectations in terms of durability, quality and price point. The assembly bolts stay tight, the rubber pads have not come away or unglued, the plastic is not affected by nitro fuel or oil.

The only con is that version 1 did not have the holes at top of the stand to hold shocks when doing oil changes. A new version has been released with a revised top to hold shocks.
